In September, Professors Houh and Kalsem (as co-directors of the Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice) co-sponsored with the YWCA and UC’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion a screening of Hate Crimes in the Heartland, a documentary by Rachel Lyon. A panel discussion followed.
