On May 24, Professor Christopher Bryant participated as a panelist in a discussion of gun violence sponsored by MARCC (the Metropolitan Area Religious Coalition of Cincinnati) as part of MARCC’s ongoing “Let’s Talk” program. Professor Bryant’s remarks concerned “The Second Amendment: History, Text & Judicial Interpretation.”
On September 22, 2016 Professor Bryan will participate in a second MARCC panel discussion about gun violence.
On August 18, Professor Bryant, with Dean Emeritus Lou Bilionis, taught a CLE program to the Lawyer’s Club of Cincinnati titled “The Supreme Court’s October Term 2015: What Almost Happened But Didn’t, What Did Happen, And What It Means For The Court’s Future.”
On August 24, 2016, Professor Bryant was interviewed by a documentary film maker working on a project about guns in America; Professor Bryant spoke about the Second Amendment aspects of the subject.
On August 30, 2016, Professor Bryant and Dean Emeritus Tomain debated the question: “How Should We Interpret the Constitution?” at a lunchtime event jointly sponsored by the Federalist Society and American Constitution Society.
Professor Bryant, with Professor Solimine, has been invited to present on Citizens United to the Indian Hill Episcopal-Presbyterian Church’s Adult Enrichment program on September 11, 2016.
On Monday, October 3, in Columbus, OH, Professor Bryant will present to a group of secondary school social science teachers on the subject of the evolution of the Supreme Court’s decisions interpreting the Fourteenth Amendment at the Ohio Center for Law-related Education’s Constitution Day Camp.
