James Hart attended the annual meeting of the American Association of Law Libraries in Chicago and the annual course of the International Association of Law Libraries in Oxford, England.
James Hart chaired a meeting of the American Association of Law Libraries Foreign, Comparative, & International Law Special Interest Section Electronic Research Interest Group that had two speakers: Ismael Raboud of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Steven Perkins of Green Traurig.
James Hart was awarded the Daniel L. Wade FCIL-SIS Outstanding Service Award. The Award honors a member who has made outstanding contributions to the Section in outstanding leadership in the Section at meetings and committee work, special and notable service to the Section, participation in Section educational programs and public-speaking activities, mentoring activities that encourage others in the Section, and activities that encourage others to join the section.
