We in the Robert S. Marx Law Library congratulate Ricky Jackson and the team from the Ohio Innocence Project (OIP), led by Mark Godsey, in securing the release of Mr. Jackson and two other individuals after thirty-nine years in prison. The remarkable turn of events was the result of many factors, including an investigative newspaper report, years of hard work by OIP staff and students, and the willingness of prosecutors to seek justice in the end. Events such as these make working at the University of Cincinnati College of Law a joy.
