Marx Lecture
The Law Library shares its namesake with the annual Robert S. Marx Lecture. This year’s lecture features Crystal Eastman Professor of Law Catherine M. Sharkey of New York University. Professor Sharkey will discuss the judicially created “economic loss rule” which bars tort liability where a plaintiff has suffered strictly financial losses without accompanying personal injury or property damage. Professor Sharkey will deliver the lecture on Thursday, February 22, 2016 in Room 114 of the College of Law, and you can watch it via streaming video.
