Did you know that in addition to Disability Pride Month, July is also Minority Mental Health Awareness Month? In 2008, the US House of Representatives declared July as the Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. Campbell was an author who wrote about the struggles of African Americans with mental health issues in novels such as 72 Hour Hold.
