Welcome back, we’ve changed!

A Few Changes to Note

As you head off to your first day of fall semester classes, please note these changes in library operations. First, the library will be open and staffed Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We no longer have evening or weekend hours. Of course, you have 24×7 access to the library space with your Bearcat card and continuous access to our thousands of online resources. We are no longer staffing the reference desk. To submit a question to our reference librarians, or to schedule a consultation, use the “Ask a Research Question” form or send an email message to marxlawlib@ucmail.uc.edu.

Register Now for the Legal Research Boot Camp!

Registration is now open for the 2018 Legal Research Boot Camp. Legal Research Boot Camp is hosted by the University of Cincinnati College of Law and NKU Chase College of Law each May in order to refresh students’ legal research skills for any internships, externships or other legal work over the summer. At Boot Camp you will see the familiar UC law library faces plus librarians from a county law library, a firm law library, and NKU. We’ll talk about transitioning to a law firm, legal forms and practice material, low cost and free resources, administrative law, Ohio law, and Kentucky law. The same program is offered twice in order to better accommodate law students in the Cincinnati area. You can attend either session no matter where you live or go to school. Legal Research Boot Camp will take place at University of Cincinnati on May 14 8:30am – 12:30pm and at Northern Kentucky University on May 15 12:30pm – 4:30pm. Breakfast will be provided on Monday and lunch will be provided on Tuesday. Register at https://guides.libraries.uc.edu/bootcamp.
