Marianna published “It Ain’t over Till It’s over: The Hamilton County Juvenile Court Election,” as part of her monthly column, Legally Speaking, in the February 29 issue of the American Israelite.

Marianna posted 8 new entries this month on her blog, Legally Speaking Ohio, where she provides insightful commentary on the happenings of the Ohio Supreme Court on varied topics, such as: defining recklessness; standing in regulatory takings claim; the right to a co-defendant’s speedy trial; the nonwaivable duty to build a house in a workmanlike manner; the community caretaking / emergency-aid exception to the Fourth Amendment; and changes to Juvenile Rule 3; standing and real party in interest issues in foreclosure.

Marianna participated on a faculty panel for newly admitted students.

Marianna chaired the Truman Scholarship competition to award graduate study scholarships to college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who commit to careers in public service (selected winners for Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana).  Interviews were held at the UC College of Law.
