UC Law’s Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice, co-directed by Emily and Profs. Kristin Kalsem and Verna Williams, threw a major conference, Social Justice Feminism, at UC Law on October 25-27.  At the conference, Emily along with colleague Kristin Kalsem, presented “Participatory Action Research: A Practical Approach to Economic Justice,“ on a panel about reconciling theory and practice.

Emily attended the Associate of American Law Schools Faculty Recruiting Conference in Washington, DC, in mid-October, in her capacity as Chair of this year’s Faculty Appointments Committee.
