Felix B. Chang / Sept. 2013

Felix officially joined the UC Law faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law over the summer.  Welcome, Felix!  This post includes news from April through September of 2013.
In April, Felix’s book Chinese Migrants in Russia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe (Felix B. Chang and Sunnie Rucker-Chang eds., Routledge 2011) was given a nice review in the Journal of International and Global Studies.  The review can be found here.

In June, Felix attended the Association of American Law Schools New Law Teachers Conference and Workshop for Pretenured People of Color Law School Teachers, both in Washington, DC.

Also in June, UC Law’s Institute for the Global Practice of Law (IGPL), which Felix directs, held its fourth Executive Program in International Business Law, which drew participants from Brazil, China, Colombia, Jamaica, and Spain.

In September and October, the IGPL will host 16 attorneys from the Chongqing Bar Association.  The three-week program includes meetings with law firms, businesses, courts, and administrative agencies in Cincinnati, DC, New York, Boston, and Los Angeles.
