On November 7, UC Law’s Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice, which Kristin co-directs with colleagues Emily Houh and Verna Williams, hosted its major fall event, held at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, titled “Social Justice: What’s Faith Got to Do With It?”  There, Sister Simone Campbell, Executive Director of NETWORK and a lead organizer of the 2012 Nuns on the Bus Campaign, delivered keynote remarks about economic inequality and the need for economic justice movements in the U.S.
