On March 13, Krstin delivered the Harold C. Schott Scholarship Award Lecture, “From Wuthering Heights to Our Own West End: Women’s Writing/Women’s Advocacy.”  The lecture was based on her recently published book, In Contempt: Nineteenth-Century Women, Law, and Literature, as well as her current social justice feminist and community-based work and research.  Kristin was awarded the Harold C. Schott Scholarship Award in 2013; the award recognizes outstanding research and scholarly achievement by a member of the UC Law faculty.

Kristin was an invited speaker at a conference entitled “The Other Side of Reproductive Rights: The Untold Story and Ethics of Modern Eugenics.”  The conference was held at the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law.
