Chris was awarded the College’s 2015 Goldman Prize for excellence in teaching.

In March, he presented “Supreme Court Fault Lines in Health & Romance” at the annual Teach-In for Student Scholarships. He also judged exhibits at the District 8 Regional Semi-finals of the Ohio High School History Day Competition (along with 3L Rebecca Campbell), and judged the Law and Leadership Institute Moot Court Competition, held at the Judicial Center in Columbus, OH.

In April, Chris participated in a panel discussion (along with Professors Janet Moore and Emily Houh) on what to expect in the classroom at the Admissions Open House.

Chris’s article The Pursuit of Perfection: Congressional Power to Enforce the Reconstruction Amendments, 47 Hous. L. Rev. 579 (2010), was cited in Scott Sullivan, The Future of the Foreign Commerce Clause, 83 Fordham L. Rev. 1955 (2015).
