Professor Kristin Kalsem, as co-director and on behalf of the Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice, received the University of Cincinnati’s Marian Spencer Diversity Ambassador Award.
Professor Kalsem made a presentation in February, 2016 to the Directors of the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College on the need for mandatory and expanded training for judges and magistrates on intimate partner abuse.
Professor Kalsem participated in a workshop with Dorothy Roberts on her upcoming book on the meanings of interracial marriage in Chicago on April 8, 2016.
